Denise has only recently recovered from pneumonia and other health complications but this didn’t stop us from enjoying and completing the C2C cycle ride from Whitehaven to Tynemouth. Our route covered 155 miles and 4,500 metres of climb across 7 days with the longest single day of 33 miles. We transported our own clothes and personal items in panniers on our Cytronex Cannondale Quick CX1 and CX2 bikes, and stayed in lovely B&Bs enroute. The success and enjoyment of the journey was only made possible with the Cytronex conversion. Denise was able to tackle the likes of Hartside Pass, and Crawley bank at Stanhope, knowing that the Cytronex equipment was there to help when needed.
